Fırat is a third-year PhD student working with Dr. Mohammad Atari on how morality and cooperation is influenced by ecological, cultural, and institutional shifts throughout history. Specifically, he is interested in the relationship between religion and morality, cultural and historical variation in cooperation, cognitive style, and social institutions.
